Bridging the Digital Divide in our Community

STRIDE Clondalkin Project

Our STRIDE Clondalkin Project begun in 2017. Generous Grants from Google have enabled CEEDS to develop an advanced Digital Learning Centre in the Heart of our Community. This state of the art facility allows CEEDS, with the support of Google, to provide Digital Learning incentives, access to technology and Digital supports to help people to use the internet.

Google and CEEDS – Investing in our Community

Since 2017, Google has proudly supported our CEEDS STRIDE Project, investing in the region of €150,000 in hardware, software and training infrastructure through generous Community Grants. These supports have enabled CEEDS to tackle the issues presented by the widening digital divide in North Clondalkin, while focusing on inclusivity, accessibility and real community needs.

Empowering our Community through Technology and Learning

Our STRIDE Project has enabled CEEDS to develop a range of Digital Learning Programs. These incentives have been created as a response to the Digital marginalization of some of the most vulnerable members of our Community during the Covid-19 pandemic, providing people with the Hands-on supports they need to use the internet and other Computer technologies. This incentive has been an incredible success to date, with 80+ Learners certified since September 2021 and many of these progressing to further education and employment.
