CEEDS is reopening – with a difference

CEEDS Clondalkin opening

We are Reopening – with a difference.

Like other organizations, in March 2020 due Covid 19, CEEDS had to close and could not offer public services. As a community resource Centre, we wanted to be able to support you at such a difficult time. However, we have been working away and staff were working from home to ensure the Centre would reopen and resume services as quickly as possible. We have also been making our facilities safer for staff and for you.

Great news, now we are beginning a phased return to services from Wednesday (17th June 2020) this week. So, we will be available every morning from Tuesday to Friday 10 am to 1 pm. Those hours will be increasing over the next few weeks.

However, like everywhere else, for safety reasons and to conform with government regulations, we must work in a completely different way. We will not be able to offer a walk in service. Services will be by prior appointment only. So if you need our help with any of the following:

• Photocopying
• Use of Internet/computers
• Welfare Rights Information/assistance
• Social Welfare and other forms
• Information on the resumption of our training courses

You must please follow the instructions below:

• Contact us by ringing or email CEEDS (01 6233657 or reception@ceeds.ie)
• Tell us what help/service you require
• We will tell you what time to call to the Centre
• Your name and time of your appointment will be placed on a list in our reception.
• The door staff will only admit those on the list of appointments and at the time allocated.

NB: If you call to the Centre without a prior appointment, you will be advised to go home and call us to make an appointment. We cannot arrange appointments at the door.

Welfare Rights Information: If we can help you over the phone, we will do so in order to limit the need for a visit. We will be offering our information service by FaceTime where possible. Please help us spread the word to others, that by sending us a friend request on Facebook, we can help you without even having to call in to our Centre. We will accept Welfare Rights queries by Facebook message. Please ensure to give your phone number and we will call you back.

Our Charges: Please ensure to bring change with you when you call for photocopying or to use our internet facilities. We will not be in a position to give change, so exact amount will be due on arrival.

Internet usage will be charged at €1 for 30 minutes. In order to be able to facilitate as many people as possible, we will not in a position to offer longer until further notice.

Photocopying and printing will be charged on a per page basis.

All visitors will be expected to use hand sanitizer on arrival, we will provide this. You must also ensure to bring and wear face masks for the foreseeable future.

We ask that you cooperate with our staff if/when you need to call to Aras Rualach/CEEDS.
We are looking forward to seeing you all again and to being able to offer our assistance.
