New Training Courses – January 2022

We have some great new Computer Courses lined up for after Christmas at CEEDS. These Courses have been developed by CEEDS in response to digital marginalization within our Community as a result of Covid-19, and significant skills gaps which have emerged locally in terms of everyday Computer applications.

Our new Word processing Course in January will particularly appeal to learners who have recently completed our Computers for beginners’ program, providing them with the necessary skills to competently use Microsoft Office Word for everyday use. Learners who complete the Word Processing may then progress to our Microsoft Excel (Spreadsheets) course and to ICDL/ECDL or QQI accredited training.

Places on all Training courses are limited, and group sizes are restricted so early booking is advised.

QQI Online Courses

CEEDS has ensured that access to Online accredited training has remained accessible to our community throughout the pandemic. Online QQI courses such as Special Needs assisting, Customer service, Reception Skills, Train the Trainer, Care for the older person, Safety and health at the workplace etc. are still available to book through CEEDS, through our association with NCU Training.

Exam Centre

Did you know that CEEDS is an accredited ECDL Test Centre and Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Test Centre?. Online ECDL Courses are currently being offered free of charge to the general public by eCollege as part of the Government’s Covid-19 access to online learning initiative.
Registered ECDL and MOS students may choose to sit their Exam at CEEDS, saving them journey time to the City Centre or further afield.

For further information on any of our courses or services please do not hesitate to contact us at news@ceeds.ie or call 01-6233629.
