Reception Skills – 5N1407 – Begins 6th October 2021 – Virtual Classroom One Class per week for 4 weeks
This is a Virtual Classroom Course. The Course Schedule will follow similar structure to classroom-based course: 4 days real-time training delivered by Video (virtual Classroom). Regular breaks will be provided by the Tutor throughout the video training sessions. Candidates will require access to a Computer or device with an internet connection and which has a camera/webcam. The face-to-face courses 4 weeks long and learners don’t need to be as tech-savvy as they would to use the Blended learning courses. There will be self-directed work to be completed (assignments and skills demonstrations for all Courses) and the Tutor will explain all of this clearly during the Course.
Reception and frontline office skills is a course for people who wish to develop confidence in their performance of the receptionist role. Participants will be guided through the manual and computerised procedures undertaken by receptionists and will gain invaluable experience in areas such as telephone skills, petty cash systems, use of office equipment and filing. As they work through this QQI level 5 course they will benefit from helpful tips and acquire the coping skills appropriate to serving “difficult” customers.
Successful students will have gained practical skills and developed the positive attitude to customer care that is essential to working in a reception area.
